VETS & FRIENDS OF WISCONSIN Inc. is a 501(c)3 local military veterans’ organization. We are located at St. James United Methodist Church, 100 W. Capitol Drive in Appleton WI 54911. We serve Wednesday lunches from 11am-1pm and Friday breakfasts from 8am-10am. Please join us for camaraderie, great food and a relaxing atmosphere!

If you have thoughts or comments regarding our veterans outreach or just want to speak your mind on any topic of interest, this is the place to do it! Please Join us!

If you’d like to do more please make a donation to help us serve and care for local veterans.


We are open to all veterans and 1 friend, eating together. If more than one friend joins you, please have them consider a donation to cover the food expense, we so appreciate it!

Wednesday 11:00am-1:00 pm for free lunch (1100-1300) and Friday 8:00am-10:00am for free breakfast (0800-1000)

We were blessed to have the new Appleton Police chief, assistant chief, captain and others serving breakfast to 66 veterans and friends on Friday, January 13, 2023. Thank you for sharing our morning with us!
Appleton’s Mayor Woodford and his assistant Timber served breakfast to our veterans on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022. Great connections and camaraderie. Most of our board members were available for a photo op!
American Flags were handed out to each veteran the weekend of Nov. 4-5, 2022 for Veteran’s Day. Thank you to Kitz & Pfeil Ace Hardware store for their donation! We so appreciate you!

Oct. 2022, Appleton Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution presented hand-made quilts to our lady veterans, thank you so much!

The 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band of Cherry Point, NC joined us before the 71st Appleton Flag Day Parade on June 11, 2022 to enjoy some great food and hospitality. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, and huge shoutout to the local chapter of Blue Star Moms for going above and beyond preparing for this day; and serving our military.

Thank you so VERY much to JG Restoration for their May 2022 raffle proceeds donation, was a fun event and we appreciate the support from fellow local veterans organizations and businesses.
Feb. 2022, presentation of picture to WWII veteran Arden M. of the May 31, 1944 Ploesti Romanian Air Raid that he was a part of! Thank you very much Arden for your service, over 50 missions as a nose gunner on a B24 Liberator.
